Music Technology

I bought my first synthesizer, having saved up for a year, at the age of 13. This was followed a year later by my first MIDI sequencer, and I have never looked back since. Music Technology can provide a wonderful way to explore music, but it can be frustrating for the uninitiated to understand. I have taught music technology subjects from recording, acoustics to sequencing MIDI and Audio at Leeds College of Music, Northampton College, University of Northampton, Morley College and at Kingston University.

Music Theory

It might be more accurate to say music notation rather than theory, and I can teach music notation from grades 1 to 8. I am also a music theorist, although this is a somewhat more philosophical matter. I teach music notation and theory at Morley College and Kingston University.
